The L'Oreal Glam Shine lipglosses are pretty well pigmented, but they have a lot of glitter and shine in them, so they're not as suitable for daytime. But, I love Rimmel's Vinyl Glosses, because they give great colour, and they give you that shiny, wet look, without all the glitter that some glosses have.What is the best drugstore lipgloss to buy if i want a lot of colour?

What is the best lipgloss color to work with Asian (Chinese) skin?
My skin is neither warm toned or cold toned. It's just medium. I like brands like Elianto/Maybeline/L'oreal. Also, i hate lipgloss with irritants. Some call them lip plumpers. I don't have thin lips so no need for glosses that make my lips look fatter.What is the best lipgloss color to work with Asian (Chinese) skin?
I'd look for a sheer skintone, just a little lighter than your lip's current color, for day-to-day wear.
For out on the town, maybe a soft but dark red/mauve shade...

One is a light, soft pink, that almost blends into natural lips, but just highlights the color a bit more. the other side is a little darker and more dramatic (not really, it just stands out more)

I really like Revlon's Superlustrous in Nude Lustre, Shine City, Shine that Pink, Wild about Violet. They have a lot of cute young colors and most of them are pinky pink and since you have fair skin, you can pull off almost any color. They are really good, they have excellent shine and they last a long time. 5.99 for a tube, cheaper during a sale.

There's a lip gloss from LipSmackers called Cotton Candy... I think that looks nice on my lips. I also just wear gloss that is clear and just makes my lips shine. That's my suggestion though, a very light pink. Cotton Candy by LipSmackers.

Try ex foliating your lips, to get all the dead skin off BEFORE you put on your lip gloss. In fact, you should ex foliate your lips, just like the rest of your facial skin, regularly. I think those white lines may be due to your lips having dry, dead skin on them that isn't visible until you put a moisturizer (like lip gloss) on and it soaks in and the dry skin shows up as those white lines. If this doesn't help, you may be allergic to something in the lip gloss.
Try ex foliating your lips, to get all the dead skin off BEFORE you put on your lip gloss. In fact, you should ex foliate your lips, just like the rest of your facial skin, regularly. I think those white lines may be due to your lips having dry, dead skin on them that isn't visible until you put a moisturizer (like lip gloss) on and it soaks in and the dry skin shows up as those white lines. Apply Lip Balm before you apply lipgloss. It stays on longer or just re-apply. Just because thier lipglass costs 20.00 a tube dosent guarentee its not gonna work any better than how you say ';cheap' Lipgloss. Sorry but i find your remark i dont use CHEAP lipgloss rude.

well i also have a pale mediumish look and i think you should wear neutrals lyk jade greens, beiges, off whites, and rustc colors 4 ur eyes during day. At nite i would suggest 2 glam it up a bit lyk 4 parties and stuff to try a smokey eye or amythest shade and for liner i would chose greens or purples...even black would be fyn.....for lip tones i would try a shimmery honey color or a nude muave.....during the night since youll have heavy eye color keep the lips simple in clear gloss or just a light lip liner of any neutral colors.

I would look at greens and browns for eyeshadow and brown and purple for eye liner. Lip gloss I would pick light pink, sandy color.

At nite i would suggest 2 glam it up a bit lyk 4 parties and stuff to try a smokey eye or amythest shade and for liner i would chose greens or purples...even black would be fyn.....for lip tones i would try a shimmery honey color or a nude muave.....during the night since youll have heavy eye color keep the lips simple in clear gloss or just a light lip liner of any neutral colors.

I'm usually not a drug store shopper but I like the consistency and I most of the time just use the clear side to moisturize throughout the day.
generally speaking dior has a bit more shimmer and glam-factor associated with it, but lancome is a bit more natural looking. both provide teh right amount of shine so it doesn't look like you'v eaten porkchops all day, and it has good staying power as well. lancome juicy tubes are really good, they smell good and plump up the lips nicely. dior addict ( i think its called not sure) has a bit more shine to it, although the flavour it offers is every so slightly mroe intense than lancome's. so whatever goes better with your personality i suppose.

When I was in 1st grade on christmas we traded gifts. And i got one from one other girl and she gave me a diary with a chocolate cupcake flavor. At first I thought it would smell good, I was wrong it was so strong and smelt like old chocolate LoL. It was weird.
A friend of mine gave me a tube of lip gloss that smelled and tasted like toothpaste, and jelly. The worst part was that is was terribly sticky and would get all over my hands.

You'll need a good solvent - I am an artist and get lots of paint and all kinds of stuff on my good clothes too.
I like to use denatured alchol. You can get it at any hardware store. It will generally dissolve just about anything - from paint to anything oily. I've used it on some very dark indigo $75 Tommy jeans and it didn't bleach or lighten the fabric, and it doesn't leave a residue.
You may want to use some cornstarch on the spot to get most of the oily residue first. Heap a bit on the stain, and let it sit for 1/2 hour to absorb as much oil as it can. Then dump off the clump.
The best way to apply the alcohol it is to pour a small amount directly on the stain or use an eyedropper to apply. It will evaporate quickly, so keep applying if the spot is getting dry. Gently rub the spot with a WHITE rag (if you use a colored one, it might leave color on your jeans!). Keep applying alcohol and gently rubbing until the stain is out. After, wash in the washing machine.
BE CAREFUL! Denatured alcohol is extremely flammible! Don't use it anywhere near someone smoking, or in the basement or kitchen where the waterheater, furnace, or stove pilot lights (if you have a gas stove) can ignite the fumes.

If you're worried about the jeans getting ruined from that, just put some dishwashing detergent on the spot for a couple hours, and wash as normal--I'm assuming it's by a pocket or something, so it wouldn't be totally noticeable if it didn't come out all the way. Good luck...and be happy that they weren't Rock and Republic Jeans:) Those are like $400!!!
depending on the size of the stain.. you can use Dawn for starters... first place a dry cloth inside jeans ,under the stain. if larger stain use an absorbent towel. wet the spot that is stained. not dripping but wet enough that you can work a very small amount of Dawn into the area.. keep it damp moving the towel as it gets wet to absorb what you are soaking through..use a finger to work the soap in, then use a sponge to continue,damp preferably. as you work the spot rinse the sponge at intervals. Dawn only needs to be used at first application, DO NOT RENEW THE SOAP PART%26gt; let it set after you apply with finger and rub in , it should be slightly sudsy, 10 mins should do it, rinse with sponge on top and MOVE the towel as it gets wet. wash warm, dry cool. if color dye in gloss same app just more elbow work, takes a tad longer,but should do the deed. good luck

id put my money on the wd40. bc in the world of organic chemisty like dissolves like. Oil is a non polar substance and so is the wd40. When i read you question i thout what is a nonpolar solvent around the house? WD40

I guess that it just depends on the home. Some parents probably let their daughter wear lipgloss when she's six years old.

They think straight blond hair and pink lip gloss is all the rage since many celebrities are doing it. If the parent allows the child to die their hair most likely the child will die there hair. If the parents buy their kid lip gloss, most likely the child will wear the lip gloss. I know this answer sounds like I'm 50 or something but I'm not. I am experiencing it know with all of my friends in high school. They are all dying their hair and wearing tons of makeup. They think its in and want to look mature, but really they don't. I'm certainly NOT blonde and I don't have stick straight hair, but I like wearing lipgloss because it looks really pretty. And it feels great. I started wearing lipgloss when I was probably like 9. I guess that it just depends on the home. Some parents probably let their daughter wear lipgloss when she's six years old.

A must have is shimmer, tru to choose a light shimmer that you can dust over your eyelids and upper cheekbones. With your colouring i dont think you'll need a blush, just use the shimmer on your cheekbones to give you a natural shine. Hazel eyes...you go for a contrast colour such as green or plums. these shades will empahsize your eyecolour. try using a dark brown eyeshadow to contour your brow bone. For your lips go for a nice peach lipgloss and a darker lipstick. Experment with reds if you dare--they're very hot. totally invest in a good foundation though....makeup will also look horrible if you dont have good skin. Hope this helped!

A must have is shimmer, tru to choose a light shimmer that you can dust over your eyelids and upper cheekbones. With your colouring i dont think you'll need a blush, just use the shimmer on your cheekbones to give you a natural shine. Hazel eyes...you go for a contrast colour such as green or plums. these shades will empahsize your eyecolour. try using a dark brown eyeshadow to contour your brow bone. For your lips go for a nice peach lipgloss and a darker lipstick. Experment with reds if you dare--they're very hot. totally invest in a good foundation though....makeup will also look horrible if you dont have good skin. Hope this helped!

for lip gloss u should pick some light brown colour or light pink for ur lips, for eye shadow....green,black.brown,pink and purple but they should be lighter and for some blush its always light brown and pink....u will look gorgous in theses colours, believe me!

MAC makes a primer called Prep and Prime Lip. Smashbox makes one too, but I cannot remember the name.
It also really helps to make sure your lips are moisturized first with a lip balm. If your lips are dry, you are making your lip gloss do two jobs: hydrate and give color. If your lips are already hydrated, your lip gloss only has to do the job it is meant to do - look pretty and give you color!
Just thought of one more thing - make sure your lips are exfoliated and not flaky. Try rubbing them with a warm, damp washcloth to get rid of any dead skin. (Don't use a face exfoliator - it is way too harsh for your thin lip skin) Your lip gloss will have a smoother surface to adhere to and will last longer.What can I use to make my lipgloss last?

When I traveled a month ago, I packed everything into my luggage and only carried on some air sickness medication, travel papers, passport, cell phone and keys.
There is a 3-1-1 rule. You can carry on three 100 ml. (3.4oz) bottles of liquid as long as they're in a one gallon clear zip-lock bag.
I suggest you sign onto any airline website and go to the baggage restrictions area of the site to check any updates before you travel. This is an excerpt from the AA.com site:
';. . .Customers traveling from the U.S. and Canada may take with them in their cabin bag limited quantities of liquids, gels, and aerosols, including travel-size toiletries such as shampoo, suntan lotion, creams, toothpaste, hair gel and hair spray.

Most flights are not bad to go on w/o stuff, and if you are that worried about stuff in luggage, buy travel size, then you are not out that much.

70's, when hippie girls went ala natural in make up. Some did wear
eye shadow and mascara, but those who really lived a hippie lifestyle

It needs to be natural and i want it to be fruity. I already tried the shortening and the vaseline when. I put the shortening and the powder together and melted it, all it did was make the crisco solid on top of the powder so that didnt help and the vaselene did the same. I mean bacon grease would be more ';natural';, would you put that on your lips just because someone told you to? Just spring a couple of bucks to buy some gloss from the store, it's less trouble.

Where can i buy a lipgloss that actually shows up?
I'm really sick of using a lipgloss that doesnt show any color on my lips and i've tried so many different types. What brand shows up the best without being too expensive?Where can i buy a lipgloss that actually shows up?

Well do you want it to show up in color or just sparkle? If you want it to sparkle and smell good try Lip Smuckerer. (It's actually really good) if you want it to be in different colors try going to Ulta and they have some really good ones, i'm not sure what the brand is but they're not too expensive. Good Luck!
Are you using drug store brands, or better quality brands from Sephora, MAC, etc.?
Drug store brands are made cheaper, which means they don't really have long lasting color; they're just sticky.
My favorite brand of lipgloss is Stila, which you can get from Sephora. It's about $20 or so a tube, but it has a lot and it's not too sticky, plus it actually puts color in your lips.
basically i think all you really need lip gloss is for a nice shine to bring out your own natrual color in your lips but really if you just want to buy lip gloss that works just use one that comes out of a squeeze tube because those are usually thikr than the other kinds. depending what color your skin is i understand how it could be hard so a trick that i sometimes use is lipstick and then put a nice coat of vaseline not to much but just enough to make you shine%26lt;3 good luck!

What is the best MAC Lipgloss for a Darker skin tone?
I am a woman of color and I wear very little makeup so want suggestions on colors that will make my lips pop (no reds though). I like the glass and the lustre glass. I agree with angel and cescott. I would have to say mac, but they tend to be a tiny bit sticky. But if you really dont like sticky lipgloss, you should definetly try Clarins, their gloss gives a shine but it is not sticky AT all, also try clinique and givenchy.

I LOVE LIP GLOSS at any given time I have at least 5 different kinds and brands to choose from.
Lip glosses with color
MAC lip glass is the stickiest one of all the lip glosses mac has to offer. If you want to use Mac the least sticky glosses I use are luster glass they come in a hard tube. The lipgelee is a little less sticky but goes on really thick.
Lip glosses with little to no color
If you want just a lite gloss try lip smacker (star-burst) yhea its a little 5th grade but you get a lite gloss and a fun flavor or go to the Beauty supply and get a clear gloss that has a roller applicator those are more oily. Sometimes even a dab of Vaseline is cool too depends on how juicy you want to be.

Hmmm... I really didn't like the MAC lipglass one- much as I'm normally a fan of their products, I found that this is one of the stickiest lip glosses I've ever tried!
However, I'm full of praise for the new one by Bourjois: 'Eau de gloss'. I was sceptical about it since it seemed ridiculously cheap (and I tend not to have such good experiences with cheaper make up products) but this is amazing! It's really moisturising and is completely non-sticky, but makes your lips really really shine. They also do them in a great range of pink sheer colours; so it looks like your lips but subtly enhanced :)
Oh, and it's 14% water which I guess is why it seems to hydrate my lips so well.
Also, mine lasts about 4 hours if I'm careful which I have to say is pretty good!
Also: Clinique and Clarins do do some really nice ones which are mainly balms (so great for your lips) but with added colour. They are lovely and pretty non-sticky, but still not as non-sticky as the bourjois!
If you want high shine and not too sticky, you should go for MAC lipglass鈥t is very nice. However, if you want something that will condition your lips, i.e be a treatment and lipgloss, you should go for something else. The women on here have suggested that Clinique and Clarins condition the lips well and add a nice gloss. As I am not a fan of Clinique, I am going to try the Clarins one.. If you want, I will let you know after I try it how good it is.

I agree with angel and cescott. I would have to say mac, but they tend to be a tiny bit sticky. But if you really dont like sticky lipgloss, you should definetly try Clarins, their gloss gives a shine but it is not sticky AT all, also try clinique and givenchy.

MAC lip glass is the stickiest one of all the lip glosses mac has to offer. If you want to use Mac the least sticky glosses I use are luster glass they come in a hard tube. The lipgelee is a little less sticky but goes on really thick.
Lip glosses with little to no color
If you want just a lite gloss try lip smacker (star-burst) yhea its a little 5th grade but you get a lite gloss and a fun flavor or go to the Beauty supply and get a clear gloss that has a roller applicator those are more oily. Sometimes even a dab of Vaseline is cool too depends on how juicy you want to be.

Hmmm... I really didn't like the MAC lipglass one- much as I'm normally a fan of their products, I found that this is one of the stickiest lip glosses I've ever tried!
However, I'm full of praise for the new one by Bourjois: 'Eau de gloss'. I was sceptical about it since it seemed ridiculously cheap (and I tend not to have such good experiences with cheaper make up products) but this is amazing! It's really moisturising and is completely non-sticky, but makes your lips really really shine. They also do them in a great range of pink sheer colours; so it looks like your lips but subtly enhanced :)
Oh, and it's 14% water which I guess is why it seems to hydrate my lips so well.
Also, mine lasts about 4 hours if I'm careful which I have to say is pretty good!
Also: Clinique and Clarins do do some really nice ones which are mainly balms (so great for your lips) but with added colour. They are lovely and pretty non-sticky, but still not as non-sticky as the bourjois!
If you want high shine and not too sticky, you should go for MAC lipglass鈥t is very nice. However, if you want something that will condition your lips, i.e be a treatment and lipgloss, you should go for something else. The women on here have suggested that Clinique and Clarins condition the lips well and add a nice gloss. As I am not a fan of Clinique, I am going to try the Clarins one.. If you want, I will let you know after I try it how good it is.

Avon lip glosses are pretty good also because they are like what... 80 cents or something? They smell, are light, not sticky, last a long time, and moisturize well.
Carmex is pretty good too.
%26amp; no one can argue with lip smackers because they are cute ,come in great flavors %26amp; colors and WORK. They moisturize and give shine %26amp; shimmer without being sticky.
I really don't like the more name brand, glittery, kind of lipgloss like lancome or L'oreal (I think it was) because despite their nice color, the gloss seems to just dry out my lips and chap them more and the gloss is also SUPER STICKY, smelly and just gets all over the place :(What is your favorite lipgloss brand and why?
I have tried and own so many brands of lipgloss its insane.
By far the best I have used:
Sephora brand, very glossy, large tube, $15, smells like grapes, a ton of great colors, the 5 colors I have are are awesome. Doesn't get gross on your lips after wearing all day and reapplying. Color 90 and 21 are my fav!
Bath and Body Works, great colors, smells good, cheap.
Nars, the best color that looks great on everyone is Orgasm. A pinky peach. Very sticky so it stays on for a long time.

How do you make lipgloss in a microwave?

Vegetable shortening, honey, unsweetened drink mix (eg. Kool-Aid), hot water
1. Use a small bowl to mix 1 tbsp of the solid vegetable shortening and 1 tsp of honey. In a separate bowl, mix the drink mix and 1/4 tsp of hot water until it is dissolved. Stir in as much of the drink mix as possible. The actual amount will depend on the temperature of water. The more you can dissolve, the stronger the flavour will be.
2. You can choose the color and flavor of you lip gloss by the type of drink mix you use.
3. Add one drop of the water mixture to the shortening/honey base. Stir well. Repeat until you get the color/flavor combination you want. Pour into a clean container or old lip gloss pot.
4. Store in the refrigerator. Keeps for 3 days, but it tastes so good that you will use it up very fast!

I'm just wondering, because I'm going through some of my old makeup and getting rid of some. I've found some things I'd forgotten about and don't know if its a good idea to keep them or not. I don't see the harm in it, but I know other people have said bad things can happen if you use things that are too old?Whats the longest length of time you should keep lipgloss?
As long as it doesn't get gloppy and there aren't any bugs in it, I think you can still use it.

It depends, sometimes you can just tell they're yucky, but most have preservatives... if the smell/texture changes... but i say within a year or so is best. I find some of the more expensive ones last longer (I have this Dior gloss i haven't used in forever and it's fine)...
