Is mascara, pinkish cream eyeshadow, and lipgloss too much makeup for a 13 year old?

Yes I know, this question has probably been asked a thousand times, but... lol


Sometimes I wear makeup and all I wear is a little bit of mascara, lipgloss, and sometimes cream eyeshadow %26lt;-- I 鈾?that stuff, lol. It's a pinkish-nuetral color.


Oh and sometimes on rare ocassions blush.

its not really a lot but revaulate why it is that you are wearing make up i mean your 13 your still a baby ( i know you probably hate that) i am not that much older than you and im 18. That sounds fine to me, but don't over-do the mascara. I recommend top lashes only. Also, since your skin is still so young and beautiful, you definitely don't need blush. If you really want to you can put it on, but keep it very light since teens still have a natural glow/blush to their faces. As you experiment more with make-up as you get older, you'll know what feels right for you.

dont wear blush since your skin is still young and beautiful and maybe try regular eyeshadow instead of cream because cream tends to crease.

Yes, I am majorly addicted to lip products! I probably have over 50 different kinds. I use it so often that my lips feel 'naked' without anything on them. I think the best lipgloss EVER is MAC lipglass...it's kind of expensive (around 14 dollars) but worth every penny. My favorite chapstick is Softlips French Vanilla...it smells/tastes greats and keeps my lips sooo soft!

chapstick i use rite Aid brand (light blue one) it's good for cold sores and and things like that. i never get those but i like the tingly feeling personally and my lips are always super soft. but lately i've been using MAC's lip conditioner. TIP: use chapstick befer you got to bed and after you brush ur teeth and wash face b/4 u put ur make-up on. it'll really take away those cracked and sore lips. love my chapstick.

Sounds like glycerin. It's not very digestible, and is loaded in lipgloss, along with other waxes. Your body chemistry may be separating it from the other ingredients in the gloss via your saliva. Try switching to an oil based gloss, or go back to using lipstick. Clinique has some great ones called Butter Shine. Wipe the inside of your mouth and lips real well with a towel. That is what I do. Sometimes you have to wipe a little hard to get them all off.

I think lip gloss is mostly clear so the color doesn't matter much. If you hot pink and berry colors, then go for it. If you want to try red, then go for it.





You may want to go to the makeup counter at a department store like Macy's and have someone do your makeup for you or help you select the makeup as they'll be the most helpful and they have the most experience. They do it for free.

I think bronze and coral would look good, also red's with an orange tone.

There are a wide vartiety of lip glosses out there, and you can probably try them on at most beauty counters like at nordstroms or macy's. there are also very pretty and cheap ones in drugstores like CVS, Rite Aid, etc. Really good types are those double ended ones; one side is lipgloss, its like a stain color and sticks to your lips, its not like gloss thats creamy and just stays on your lips. your lips will get dry after 10 seconds of drying, so the other side is a chapstick that you apply AFTER the lip stain. It lasts a long time and prevents over-pile-ing which can happen if you put on too much lipgloss. Wetslicks are also good.


IMPORTANT: It's a VERY good idea to buy a lipgloss that contains SPF. looking cute is good, but if you wear lipgloss and you are out in the intense heat of the sun, the gloss intensifies the sun's rays and you can get a rash on your lips and it is very uncomfortable, like cold sores or peeling skin around the lips. Maybe try wearing a good spf chapstick, then put on your lipgloss if you cant find spf lipgloss. GOODLUCK!

well I am african american and I wear lip gloss(not baby pink) and mascara. Most of them are trying to be something that they are not. There is a variety its just that to some people blonde hair is in style.

Also I can't stand wearing lip gloss. If I do it's going to be a brownish because brown tones look better on me. I'm tan really tan and with my dark hair the color pink DOES NOT LOOK GOOD ON ME! In clothes..yes..but not lip gloss..*shudders*





I usually just use chap stick lol. I personally think that everyone should be proud of who they are and not try to ';fit'; in with the majority crowd. But if they want to them let them because it makes us, who don't try to conform to everyone else, Just that much more unique :)
Well, I guess it's because it suits them... their skin tone, their hair color, their weather, their culture... lucky for them they can always have smokey eyes. It wouldn't look great as theirs on other people from other countries on a daily basis though. I also think that celebrities are some of the many influences for their makeup style. They also use other colors but I it looks like smokey eyes with pink glossed lips has become their traditional everyday makeup look.

It starts at like age 2 (I have a 2 year old that wears lipsgloss). The idea of that being what is accepted comes from TV we are no longer creative people with our own style we are a generation of Mannequins wearing the ';lastest style';

I like that weird kind you can get at Bath and Body Works. It's the minty stuff that I can never remember the brand name of.


The color I use is called ';Magenta Mint'; and I looove it. It makes your breath smell great.
i dont like lipgloss. it feels slimy and i dont like it on my lips. but i like the smell of the victorias secret ones.

lipstick is better but if we're on the subject of gloss then mac is great- and smells lovely. Dior lip glosses are also really nice.

i think all the major cosmetics companies sell a light pink gloss (covergirl, revlon, maybelline). its just a matter of picking the perfect shade and texture that you like. the walmart near my house has a good selection of makeup, idk about yours. they are all about the same to me.

so this sweatshirt is a hollister sweatshirt and its beautiful but my sister got a lipgloss stain on the front of it and it wont come off... any answers on how to get rid of it??? its lip gloss not stick.How do you get a lipgloss stain off of a sweatshirt?
pour a bit of dawn dishwashing liquid on the stain and brush in, let set for about 5 minutes, then wash it as normal. the dish soap will cut thru the grease of the lip gloss. good luck =)
