With lipstick, if I am going out and will be eating or drinking, I put the lipstick on, apply baby powder to my wet lips and then apply it again. It lasts all night, through meals!What are someways to keep your lipstick or lipgloss on longer?
hmm well, it would really help if you had a good brand. For lipstick, I would put a gloss or even chapstick or vasiline over it to make it stay longer. You could always use that lipstick that like never comes off from Neutrogena or Covergirl lol. For lipgloss, its really hard to keep it on. Line your lips with a neutral lip liner so the gloss wont run.What are someways to keep your lipstick or lipgloss on longer?

I think lip gloss is mostly clear so the color doesn't matter much. If you hot pink and berry colors, then go for it. If you want to try red, then go for it.





You may want to go to the makeup counter at a department store like Macy's and have someone do your makeup for you or help you select the makeup as they'll be the most helpful and they have the most experience. They do it for free.

Try a light pink or a clear color also try a very medium red for some color.
I think bronze and coral would look good, also red's with an orange tone.
i have the same color skin and hair and i use a clear gloss it really looks nice.
a pink color would look the best for you!

stay away from lip smackers, they don't do any good for your lips and are for little kids.


I'd recomend Burt's Bees, because it's all natural and they also make lip glosses now. they also have chapsticks with a color tint and sparkle to them.


If you want chapstick a really good one is Nivea chapstick, its the fat one that's blue and has lips on it.


I also really like the CO. Bigilow minty glosses from Bath%26amp;Body Works. they're moderatley priced ( I got a pack of 5 plus a sugar lip exxfoliator for about 20 bucks)


they taste great and minty, come in pink tints or clear, and freshens your breath. Definatley one of the best!

There are a wide vartiety of lip glosses out there, and you can probably try them on at most beauty counters like at nordstroms or macy's. there are also very pretty and cheap ones in drugstores like CVS, Rite Aid, etc. Really good types are those double ended ones; one side is lipgloss, its like a stain color and sticks to your lips, its not like gloss thats creamy and just stays on your lips. your lips will get dry after 10 seconds of drying, so the other side is a chapstick that you apply AFTER the lip stain. It lasts a long time and prevents over-pile-ing which can happen if you put on too much lipgloss. Wetslicks are also good.


IMPORTANT: It's a VERY good idea to buy a lipgloss that contains SPF. looking cute is good, but if you wear lipgloss and you are out in the intense heat of the sun, the gloss intensifies the sun's rays and you can get a rash on your lips and it is very uncomfortable, like cold sores or peeling skin around the lips. Maybe try wearing a good spf chapstick, then put on your lipgloss if you cant find spf lipgloss. GOODLUCK!

Possibly they used the color Brown sugar but it really looks more like an old discontinued mac shade, i believe it was called relay race. The LED light gloss looks like a prop.

well I am african american and I wear lip gloss(not baby pink) and mascara. Most of them are trying to be something that they are not. There is a variety its just that to some people blonde hair is in style.
Well, I'm not American, but I do have a lip gloss addiction. I probably started wearing it in grade 5 or 6 I think. I think because lipgloss isn't that moisturizing, the more you use it, the more your lips dry out, so you think you need more.


And I'm a brunette, and my hair is curly....... but ya, it's black mascara all the way. And pink lipgloss cuz, well, it looks good on everyone.

Personally I don't understand why women, or men for that matter want to dye there hair color. I love my hair color..and even though I have never dyed my hair it's mutilcolored. Mostly because I go outside alot and the sun has changed my hair color..It is mostly brown with red, black and a bit of blonde in it.





Also I can't stand wearing lip gloss. If I do it's going to be a brownish because brown tones look better on me. I'm tan really tan and with my dark hair the color pink DOES NOT LOOK GOOD ON ME! In clothes..yes..but not lip gloss..*shudders*





I usually just use chap stick lol. I personally think that everyone should be proud of who they are and not try to ';fit'; in with the majority crowd. But if they want to them let them because it makes us, who don't try to conform to everyone else, Just that much more unique :)
Well, I guess it's because it suits them... their skin tone, their hair color, their weather, their culture... lucky for them they can always have smokey eyes. It wouldn't look great as theirs on other people from other countries on a daily basis though. I also think that celebrities are some of the many influences for their makeup style. They also use other colors but I it looks like smokey eyes with pink glossed lips has become their traditional everyday makeup look.
