ive always wanted to make my own lip gloss and i dont know how to and i only want to use stuff at home.How do you make your own lipgloss with your own things at home?

Materials


Vegetable shortening, honey, unsweetened drink mix (eg. Kool-Aid), hot water





1. Use a small bowl to mix 1 tbsp of the solid vegetable shortening and 1 tsp of honey. In a separate bowl, mix the drink mix and 1/4 tsp of hot water until it is dissolved. Stir in as much of the drink mix as possible. The actual amount will depend on the temperature of water. The more you can dissolve, the stronger the flavor will be.


2. You can choose the color and flavor of you lip gloss by the type of drink mix you use.


3. Add one drop of the water mixture to the shortening/honey base. Stir well. Repeat until you get the color/flavor combination you want. Pour into a clean container or old lip gloss pot.


4. Store in the refrigerator. Keeps for 3 days, but it tastes so good that you will use it up very fast!





Materials:


* Beeswax (the pellet-shaped sort works best)or petroleum jelly


* Sunflower oil or another kind of vegetable oil


* Flavoring and/or scent like Kool Aid


* Coloring (pinch a bit from your favorite lipstick or using food coloring)


* Any additives you might like


* Small containers (old lip gloss containers or you can buy plastic tubes at the drug store)


1. Assemble the ingredients.


2. Prepare a double boiler. (See ';Tips';)


3. Place a quarter cup of the beeswax in the pot.


4. Add two tablespoons of the sunflower oil.


5. Turn the burner on low heat and stir the mixture of oil and wax continuously as it slowly melts together.


6. Remove from heat once the wax and oil have melted together. Add desired flavorings, scents and/or color.


7. Pour it into small pots for storage.


8. Let it cool.


9. Store in a cool environment and use within 2 months .



its actually pretty easy, I did it with my mom when I was little. First get a container fill it with petroleum jelly, slice of some of your lipstick, and add a little body glitter to make it sparkle. If your not sure I am sure there's a recipe on the internet.
Have any tubes of lipstick you really like? Use the color you like and mix with vaseline very well with an orange stick. You can buy little containers you can put it in when you get it made.
melt some vaseline, add and Colour you want e.g. red food coloring and any sents you like. let it cool for a while, until hard-ish hope i helped
