Why does my lipgloss not stay on during the day?

Apply Lip Balm before you apply lipgloss. It stays on longer or just re-apply. Just because thier lipglass costs 20.00 a tube dosent guarentee its not gonna work any better than how you say ';cheap' Lipgloss. Sorry but i find your remark i dont use CHEAP lipgloss rude.

either because your lips are dry and chapped and then you may need to apply a lipbalm first,, or your lipgloss is cheap and it doesn't work, and you need a better one.

Rimmel does a Lip Seal, which looks and applies a little like nail varnish, but it does keep lipstick and ligloss in place for about 8 hours.
it evaporates, or you eat, or something.
You might not be using a good kind of lip gloss.
